“Picture, Kamoro Young Man in His Traditional Attire”, by Harya

Children are like sponges,
They easily absorb what they see and sense.
What they see and hear, think and feel,
They will embrace and repeat.

Children are fragile precious beings,
They can easily be broken.
They can also be disappointed and led astray
Even in the absence of our consciousness.

They will be who we are
As we model our examples.
They will walk our walk
And talk what we teach.
