What part of war is actually only for defensive purposes? We also “talk” about “Peace Talks”. Has this become another lifelong oxymoron? Actions speak louder than words!
What if they gave a war and nobody came? We all must return back to the basics of the Golden Rule. This rule is the rule of Life and of Love: “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you!”
It is odd how the very few evil people can rule and regulate the masses of good people.
An evil person would be his own victim of himself and his first and worst enemy if the world was in true harmony. Our lack of love, unity, and harmony is the basis of our problems. Then we have the trigger or human element of worldly abuse. We always know who they are, but yet we allow them to take control?
“Love thy neighbor as thyself.” This is theoretically the same. World peace can only begin when we all commit ourselves to those actions necessary to end all war. We must unite as good people to override the evil few. But we should do so in peaceful and loving unity to dance together in the reunion of Love and to understand our differences. And if we are killed? I'd say I died quickly and let my karma fly. The aggressor's soul slowly dies in the pains of his own created environment.
Fight as you may with a vengeance, or love to your death with compassion. I am not a preacher. I am not even a believer of any religion. They try to “guide” you with their many “rules” that are not only misleading, but also try to persuade you to do injustice to those who do not believe in the same religion. When difference in religious “beliefs” is recognized, and one's God becomes “better” than the others it becomes a possible reason for war. Religion, Politics, Discrimination, Gluttony and Greed, all constitute a basis for War! And peace talks are only words. Actions Speak Louder than Words.
Now how do we move from “peace talks” to “peace actions”? We can do what we can everyday to make another heart change. Can this butterfly effect really affect us all? We must really transform this “human” being to one beyond this existence. We must transform anger and pain into peace and love.
It has happened in some countries that have gained their freedom without aggression.
It has happened in the United. I am anti-war. I was and always will be a hippie. Even through a war in Vietnam, I refused to “Kill without Mercy” as “Commanded”! You may stop a man, but there is no need to kill a stopped man, as long as he stays stopped.
I live in Costa Rica. In Costa Rica, there is no army or military. There is a peace of unquestioned quiet. There is only the desire to know the meaning of “la pura vida” and to help others attain that extra step forward in sharing a life together: “Costa Rica was the first country to formally abolish military forces. We must all get back to the basics of the endearment of life: To love thy neighbor as thyself. Without a stone, in step, we could change our world. We can change our immediate environment now! It is amongst these who Love, and know Love as their greatest gift and emotion that we must make this new beginning. Without this new beginning, we will be finished.
