In my hand
I hold the world
I hold your hand
I support you
I give love

In my hand
I see disentangling
My stolen life
My dream
My hijacked fate

to this hand, I say:
Whatever happens, count on me!
Why inflexible, why silent about my giving up?
Why did you keep silent about me and not hold out your hand? I want to know why.

In my hand
I can read these words:
courage!
I am joined to you
I shall always be with you

ondo Marina

Ondo Marina is a native of Gabon. She is a doctor of letters at the University of Lyon, and is fascinated by poetry and art. She is also worried about the various crises which shake the world. She deeply wishes that people and customs would change, evolve towards an ethics that looked upon others, towards a sense of sharing, of solidarity, and towards more humanism.
