Welcome to the Wall of Experience! Since it's the first time the Wall of Experience is on the Dispatch, here are a few suggestions, comments etc. while writing. Here they are, in FAQ form: Q. What is the Wall of Experience? A. The Wall, as we call it here at TIG, is another way for members of TIG to be heard, or read, to be more specific, about issues that they think are important. It's a way for members to submit stories to our website, and perhaps get featured. Q. How is the Wall different from Panorama, TIG Blogs and Discussion Forums? A. Well, first of all, the pieces to be featured on the Dispatch will be selected by us, the Dispatch team. All contributions are welcome and encouraged though, and they will on be featured on the Wall of Experience page. Also, the Wall is a place for you to share your experiences based on the topic of the month, that is, the same one that is being featured on the Dispatch. While you're welcome to read back contributions, continue writing for an issue that is past, and browse our archives, the point of the wall is to keep the writing featured relevant to the issue of the month. Q. When will you let us know what the next issue is? A. The next month's issue will now be featured on the Dispatch of the previous month. We will also let you know when we begin receiving contributions for a particular month's topic. Q. What forms can the contributions be in? A. We welcome contributions in the following ways: Essays, articles, opinions, poems, pictures and photographs. All submissions must be electronic, however. Q. What is the limit on contributions? A. There is no word limit on text. However, submissions may be edited to fit to Dispatch formats and standards. The limit for picture files is the same as that of other places on the TIG website, like the Global Gallery. Q. Where can I submit my contribution? A. The direct link to submit to the Wall of Experience is here: . The link will also be on the Dispatch. Q.Can I give feedback on the Wall of Experience? A. Yes, absolutely. Please email: mekhala@takingitglobal.org, or liam@takingitglobal.org with your questions, comments, suggestions or other feedback. Please do not email submissions to these email IDs. « return. |
