A teacher with a sweet heart Printable Version PRINTABLE VERSION
by Emperor Omorogiuwa Edionseri, United Kingdom Feb 10, 2009
Education   Poetry

You were here to do a job,
Just as each of them were here to do a job
But you’ve got a heart that’s sweet
And the beauty is you didn’t hide it.
You let it shine like the rays of the Sun;
As bright as the morning Sun.
You were nice without a fault.
Your sweet heart seems to have no halt.
You stood to prevent any from being hurt.
Truly, you’re a teacher with a sweet heart.

For the extra hand you’d give;
For the words of advice, you always gave;
For the tolerant person you are;
For the peacemaker you are;
For the times you tried to make me understand
Though faced with a language, you didn’t well understand.

You could have skipped all these and still been a good teacher
But you preferred to be a sweet-hearted teacher.
God bless you!
And a million thanks to you.
