Just a breath that is needful
I take this breath I live
I lose it I die
But if life is salvation
Then death is desirable
What’s salvation without freedom?
What’s freedom without struggle?
What’s struggle without life,
What’s life without pain?

Listen to the sound of the night
At dawn it disappears
But echoes through to dusk
Oh! No condition is permanent
One day we'll all have,
Our share of the bitter cup,
Our days of wilderness will come,
Our time to cry and mourn,
Our time of night and tempest.

My heart beats faster to rapture
Oh! This breath I need
Oh! The man I am
For fear grip my burdened soul
On my bed tonight I pray
One more day to care,
One more day to share,
One more day to love,
One more day to bear

Who woke me up I can't tell
a hand unknown yet so mild
So I still live to ponder
Where life journey takes me
Being awake is freshness.
Being alive is good,
Being prepared is better
Being you is best.
