You are my Mother, You are my friend
You will be with me forever, you are God Sent

I hope I make you proud
Like how you make your Mother proud
I will always be there beside you
To take care of you, to talk to you, to love you

You teach me so much day after day
I take you for granted sometimes,
It hurts to think, I have to say
That you may not be there one day

I will pass on to my children
All that you have taught to me,
And always try to be
The kind of Mother you have been to me

You are my Mother, You are my friend
You will be with me forever, you are God Sent
