Love is when you wake up to the sun shining bright,
Love is the soothing water raining on your face
when you take a shower, getting ready for work.
Love is the smell of buttered toast,
The aroma of a hot cup of coffee.
Love is the birds chirping, the swaying of the trees,
The smell of fresh air, and the breeze carrying with it
the perfume of flowers as I walk to work.
Love is the music of made by neighbours’ dogs barking
Rhythmically to the car’s engine starting up, and the voices of
Children getting ready for school, that and the hooting taxi
Hoping I’ll stop it to catch a ride.
Love is the music in my soul, the earworm “I just wanna feel good everyday”
As I hum to Lira’s feel good song.
Love is the car that stops for me so I can cross the road in busy traffic,
.Love is catching a lift to work and arriving in time to start another day.
Love is the smile of a colleague saying good morning, an Afrikaner
Singing
Love is working hard all day helping those who need your help,
Eating lunch with a friend and making plans to catch a movie later.
Love is drinks with pals after a long days work…
The starry night sky winking “Well done today, tomorrow will be even better”.
Love is taking a shower before bed, reading the word, a book
Or a bedtime story.
Love is watching your favourite show on television, and sending a “’gnite” instant message to a friend.
Love is calling your family before bed to tell them you miss them.
Love is the warmth of your electric blanket, the comfort of your bed.
Love is going to sleep at night in peace, in harmony, in Liberty.
Love is every second of everyday. Love is life.
Stay in love with Life.
