It is a plausible fact that in this era of GLOBALIZATION in the world in general and on Africa in particular, emphasis need to be place on the doctrine of “love one and another”
In this contemporary era of our Human existence, what the world demands most is the eradication of racism, and neo-colonialism. As it was demonstrated by our various religion leaders surpass to say: - Jesus Christ, Prophet Muhammad (Muslim), Ranhi Gandhi of India, Mother Theresa of catholic faithful etc. This is enough to teach us that man’s sacred responsibility is to be a brother’s keeper.
Globalization as they said is defined as the reduction of universe to a village. It’s main vehicle being the infinite possibility of telecommunications of Judeo-Christian values of uniting peoples of the world more and more. It is grossly incorrect to still peddle the argument that it is mere religion. It is a way hidden agenda of the globalization movement is homogenize the culture of people else where.
Some of us here in this part of the universe believe strongly that what the religion and culture we practice are suppose to be an expression of our own culture and religion, therefore, the globalization we are expecting should be able to carry everyone along irrespective of their cultural and religion, affiliations, should be genuine indent.
In my native dialect (Nigeria Ikwerre) there is a saying that goes, “what is good for the goose is also good for the gender” therefore, it is my humble opinion that the globalization should be handle with utmost care and with a genuine intent, let the world be a place of which is devoid of rancor, confrontation, hatred, avarice, racism, and discriminations etc. Indeed, let it be on notice that globalization is a true policy that will guarantee success, and vehicle for achieving global peace.
