As I wake up each morning, in my Chinese made bed,
From my Malaysian pillow, slowly raises, my head.
Made in Taiwan says my brand new alarm,
Which woke me from dreaming of Martian made car.

I slide out of bed in my Japanese shorts,
And reach for the glasses which, of course, are imports.
For a moment as I move from the bed to the bath,
I realize that I’m touching nothing from afar,
Oh, except from the glasses, my rug and my shorts.

Still half awake, I aimlessly stare
At the stain covered mirror, whilst brushing my hair.
The brush from Japan, the mirror a copy,
Of a coca Cola classic, designed in Kentucky.

After a small cut from America’s, “Razor for Men”,
My clothes are a party, at the U.N.
Trousers from England, my shirt from Dubai,
And finally a local, my Thai is a Thai.

Without leaving the house,
I have started the day,
In the post modern world,
In the globalized way!
