On this day.
After impatient months of cradling years.
The sun busted through vaulted azure skies.
Refracting rays of warm hope inclusion.
On my envious face; splendid like the summer.
I spotted you among all else: walking briskly.
With flowing and steady stride: I gaped.

Our eyes meet and mine wouldn’t wander no more.
I trembled and fluttered from an incredible lure.
Like a dejavu or walking back from illus ional dreams.
The sensations pungent plumbing; I had to say hello.
Wanted to catch it and clutch it forever.
The dust turned gold as we patted ways.

If I was Immortelles; I would have flied with you.
Or climb into your mind to make it right and real.
I swim in ocean of visions; curiously wishing the incredible.
That which impels me to know I was not wrong.
For your eyes blazing an effulgent light in my world.
And your soft voice revel your glory and innocence.
Like an incessant song only heard in dreams.
I knew it was true; what I hold inside me.
Only I couldn’t make you see my pure intentions.

Inwardly grateful; my heart pray for patience.
Like a farmer waiting for a fruitful season.
I sworn to cultivate, mould and make it splendid.
My voice stutter; so I write in language of dreams.
Until rivers flows; I wait and I’m okay with that.
For my heart dance like Nairobi gone mad.
