Do you condemn a man Who tries to try genuinely Without flowers, Without sweeteners, Just bare and raw … just as it is? Like water Without coloration? Like tea without sugar? Like bone without flesh, Just bare, dry, and raw? ... do you condemn a Man for being himself, For not carrying Another’s identity? For not playing, For not dancing To another's music? Do you subscribe to self, Forgetting others live too? or enjoy fathomless Showmanship at the expense of reality? Do you know That what you need from Others, Others also need from you? That one hand, as the saying Goes, washes The other, rather than condemn it? That it's only when legs Synchronize that a walk Is possible? Do you realize that Flowers die with The noonday sun, But that true care is the Bare bone left Behind after every Sumptuous meal? Do you know that life Isn’t just a pin In the head or a football, But a complex web, An intricate ensemble Away from cocoons And coyoteous arrangements? Do you…do you know? « return. |
