I want to write a poem about Africa One with a substantial meaning Stressing perception of our black being Defining our roots with pride, we sing Across the beautiful globe These words will hold a covenant ring of truth In the demise of racism Eyes shall not only peruse this poem But supplement the world's cognitive thinking schematic About Us! Black people I want to write a poem about Africa One with just a few words, lines, Stanzas, rhymes Similes and Metaphors I want to write a poem about Africa One that will crack a joke Setting around the fire place Laughing flames out to the burning wood Divining in the mystical story telling of your roots By your great grandma Of all animals in the kingdom of Africa Your deprived history One you were sipped of dewless I want to write a poem about Africa One that will strike a home ran for you All Africans in all corners of the world Beating African drums, to the womb of your ears Awakening your fore fathers from a pensive sleep To scold you back to your mother land "Africa" I want to write a poem about Africa One that will simultaneously touch hearts In your sterile being You'll see Africa from my perspective For what it is When you relish This poem’s pure sense Perhaps you'll feel the greatness that inspired me To write a poem about Africa « return. |
