The journey of life is a short one that presents itself to be the longest and the farthest one could ever embark upon. The year 2007 came with its full promises. It was like it'd take eternity to come to an end with all the promises and exploits in the offing. But in the twinkling of an eye when it seemed like there was still sufficient time to slow down on some things, when it really mattered to gain all the time one could ever have access to in order to achieve one's set goals for the year … Behold here ring Christmas tunes and songs. The weather does not help matters either with the emergence of the North East Trade Wind (Harmattan) violently blowing, and the seasons changing for farm produce, sales closing for the year, accidents here and there and prices of commodities sky-rocketing. It's like whoa! What have I really achieved? What impacts have I made this year ? Have I really achieved anything? These among other questions may be running through your mind, but I want you to remember just one thing: That is the fact that God has kept you throughout 2007. Though you may not have said anything directly to me, neither have you sent me an expensive gift. But your presence and contribution to the success of other people in 2007 has really impacted me positively. Thanks for being a standard professionally and spiritually. It is my prayer that God in His infiniteness will strengthen you and every member of your family for the journey ahead in 2008. He'll shield, guide, protect and provide for you. You and your family will not lack any good thing, and He will continually cause His countenance to shine upon you and give you peace. Finally, my sincere appreciation goes to YOU for believing in me and trusting me enough to be mindful of me throughout 2007. It's been a great honour and privilege. Thanks for being there!
