Don't Blame Me For My Ignorance My mistakes are only human
And not just by default
So don't blame me for my ignorance
And say it's all my fault

'Cause if the world came crashing down
Would you still be
Would you still be here
The promises I make
Are not as bad as your mistakes
So don't look at me like that
Don't blame me for my ignorance

If my heart could speak the truth
It'd speak nothing of the pain
So don't look at me like that
My heart has finally flown away

My mistakes are only human
And not just by default
So don't blame me for my ignorance
And say it's all my fault

'Cause if the world came crashing down
Would you still be
Would you still be here
The promises I make
Are not as bad as your mistakes
So don't look at me like that
Don't blame me for my ignorance

I'm Alex. I've always been a writer. I like my writing to be influential. Usually, I turn most of my poems into songs. I've never really shared any of my work. I think that's because it's so important me and it's all I have.
