Raw Philosophy Leaves.
Leaves drop to earth
Some grey, some orange
Some dry and cracking
A branding construct
Humanity’s endeared to,
Yes, endeared to, forever!
Birds flap their wings
In merriment to the
Change of day, another day.
I can hear them
Sing from far afield,
I can feel the vibration from
A million city drummers,
And the gyration of pedantic
Street dancers;
Hoots of owls concoct
Eerie scenarios away
From home,
away from home;
I look at a fallen leaf
Settled at my battered feet,
A smile issues from
The corner of my lips;
Life’s like a fallen leaf.
Driven to its final destination,
It rests to rot gyrating to
Drumbeats of a million
Drummers.
Like it or not, its colour
May be grey or orange,
Its disposition may be
Whole, battered or broken.
Yet, the synergies there-from
Compensate true meaning
Of living...
The branding of life,
Like leaves dropping
To earth another
day.
