Coyote Runs Dry heat
Scorching
Mixed with
Cool ocean breeze
Chaparral
Scrubs
Coyote runs
Through miles
Wildly
Chasing his prey
Till one day
His miles
Grow shorter
Cut off
People scoff
Hold out their guns
Coyote runs
Shorter
Territory border
Cut short by forgers-
Of civilization
That great nation
Renown in its creation
Like on great Claymation
Gone wrong
Through its rising
Compromising
The land-
Its greatest and most original pride
Most precious resource
Power resides
And collides
With it’s past
The land
Upon which it was built
Blocked out with guilt
Cities of old
Of animals
Lay under
Concrete
And glass
Other unnatural things
Things that natural brings
To destroy the land

On which it was cradled
Land on which it was fabled
To be born
Its past now shorn
Cannot be stopped
Innocence lost-
Buried, but not forgotten
What happened to the:
Dry heat
Scorching
Mixed with cool ocean breeze
Chaparral
Scrubs
Coyote runs

My name's Laura and I live in the United States. I'm caucasion, and I believe that race shouldn't matter- individuals should. I'd like to change the world one day through the missionary field- I'm Nazarene (Christian) and I'm definitely FOR human rights and world peace.

My biggest question is: Is World Peace possible?
