My fallen mentor Printable Version PRINTABLE VERSION

My fallen mentor (To late JM Ramoni for being a mentor and Hubert Fugui for the inspiration to write this piece).

A little while,
Since the blackest day:
The day you departed,
My world was dark:
It fell apart.
Life was a canoe in a storm,
Accepting your absence as it was,
Is beyond my contemplation

But to make it beyond where I stand,
I then give up the past
And locked close-doors.
Though it hurts,
At the cross-road
The past must be allowed,
To rest in peace.
So before dawn light, my farewell.
