Were we looking at the same night sky? The clouds were dark and the stars were shy The sun below the horizon, gradient red light The moon was out of sight. Were we looking at the same star last night? As it blinked the God's eye, sight So far away, so helpless gripe I hope your night, unlike mine, was bright. Our congruent skies shed tears together Our flight lines never cross each other Our hearts might beat, synchronized... but, So what if we're under the same dark blanket? Your heart is in another galaxy, and the Star that shines the brightest for you - isn't Me. « return. |
