I might not be a star I might not be a beauty But that twinkle in my eyes And the smile that’s always on my lips Shows that I am content to be me Power can’t make me content Yes I need not cower where power is concerned Because it could all be gone in an hour But I am doing what I like And I like what I do And I am content as can be I walk high and tall And I know I am not going fall Because despite all the things I lack I’ve got more than someone else And so, I need not envy another Who’s got more than I do And that means that I am content as I am « return. |
