It is inimical, criminal and bestial
Especially when a child
Is forcefully taken on the road
To work as slaves in oddity;
Sometimes the oldest is eleven.

They are sometimes
Isolated from the outside world
For a long period of time
They are beaten and maimed
When they complain or try to escape
With burnt backs by their captors
While their parents climb mountains
In the search of them.

It is sometimes the parents’ abetment,
They sell a child less the price of an animal;
Blaming poverty, but it is their moral ineptitude.

Is this not a neo-slavery?
What is the meaning of slavery?
