The sage of letters drew
His strength from the pouch
Of knowledge

Where mighty men fail
To listen, word dazzle the
Mind, Ninny men disguised

In a wise cloak, claiming to be
Wise, but Ake: The beats of iroko,
Whips lustful Men of power and

Intrigue became a passion, a
Power play, six fifth under
Awaits, once a day of sorrow

But men will rejoice at their wake.
Ake: the voice of Iroko, the
Czar of letter, thy path glitters

With words, of which I intend
To trail. Ake: the beats of Iroko,
Thy words play in my mind

As I lay ruminating it
Content: a guide to my Feet,
Lest I fall by the way side.

Ake: the beats of iroko
Thy word springs: a Fountain:
For knowledge Sort by the wise

Ake: the beats of Iroko
Thy word as thy world a
Living legend: I adore.
