Why gather we here today?
What stand me here to say?
Today we have declared” WORLD AIDS DAY”
But will the promise come to stay?
Sad are we over those passed away
But many yet have gone astray.
Remorse and depressed are they
That from them you keep away.
Would you make today worthwhile
and on their faces begin to put a smile?
Would you make today worthwhile
By travelling all the mile..
To be protected from AIDS?
“Be protected from AIDS”
So stand me here to say
But would you keep the promise today?
