Africa
O mother Africa
My love for you is endless
But your sight makes me hopeless
How then will I be great?
Amidst colleagues and siblings

O mother Africa
Your heart is full of sickness
Your head is also coverless
Your shoes I see are sole less
The breath you take is helpless

O mother Africa
I wish to see hope in you
So that I may not get divorced from you
But now my appeal to you
Is to pull yourself together
