MAMA AFRICA
Mama, why do you weep so?
Your heart is filled with sorrow;
Unbearable?
Unquenchable?!

Mama i see your pains
As evil reigns
All around you
And nothing you can do.

My child i am raped endlessly,
I suffer ceaselessly.
Nobody cares
Even you my dears

My child i am mutilated daily,
My health is failing,
While i am still alive,
Yet i will wait a little while.

Mama,
Africa,
Yes wait for I hope each day
For a new change !
