Human Rights   Poetry

We are the best of all creation
and the most delicate.
Why then should we abuse each other?
And be this wicked to each other?

The pain of seeing a loved one die,
is enough to make one ponder why.
Every human should be cherished and esteemed high.
Child abuse, human trafficking! This makes me cry.

The thought of this emaciates me.
Why should this ever come to be?
If there be no brightness in a child's future,
his future needs no more rupture.

Lives are to be valued and appreciated
and not to be demoralized and humiliated.
Value life and stop abusing it!
Value life and stop trading it!
