The bottom fell out of tomorrow
but that's okay

The bottom fell out of tomorrow
but we are not there
we are still here
(it's) today

The bottom fell out of tomorrow
but not too much was stored in there

Now if it'd been yesterday
that would've been a terrific mess
WOW- what a mess that would've made!

but
the bottom fell out of tomorrow
when we made the choices we made

the bottom fell out
but the sides held true
and now what's left to do
is sow new hopeful
seeds of opportunity
and for future generations to
harvest life-sustaining fruit

Clean water, fresh air
birds trees; life will again be balanced
live within your means and save some for those to come

The bottom fell out of tomorrow
and today we can pick it up and mend the tear

The bottom fell out of tomorrow
but this is no crisis
just a reason to make better choices
if you care...
