Online Learning Circles

Online learning circles (OLCs) exist to assist educators working together to get the most out of their TIGed experience in a way that meets individual and collective needs. OLCs accommodate up to 30 participants in four 90-minute sessions, each designed specifically around the interests expressed by your school or organization. We will work with you to design a custom learning program, delivered online and scheduled at your convenience. Get in touch with us today to see what we can do for you!

Online learning circles are sold in a package of four 90-minute sessions, each accommodating up to 30 participants, for $999. You can also purchase online learning circles as part of our professional development packages.

  • What topics are covered in online learning circles?

    We work to design custom learning programs that reflect the unique needs and interests of each group of educators. The TIGed team will help to determine which of our workshop and webinar topics to include, and also ensure that your online learning circles cover any additional questions, challenges and tools of interest to your group.

  • What technology is used to deliver online learning circles?

    Online learning circles are typically delivered through the web conferencing platform Blackboard Collaborate, which does not require any special software or hardware. If your school or group has a web conferencing platform that you would prefer to use instead, we would be happy to explore hosting online learning circles through that tool or application.

  • What happens if I can't connect to our online learning circle?

    If an individual is not able to connect into an online learning circle session, he or she will be able to access a recording of the session. If technical difficulties result in a whole group not being able to participate in an online learning circle, we will work with you to reschedule it.
