Apply your online safety know-how to a school assignment or an extra-curricular community project. Not only will you be seen as a leader to other youth – particularly to those younger than you – but you will be increasing awareness on a completely relevant topic in today's techno world.

Show Us Your Slideshow Come up with concepts that give people a reason to think about online safety. For example, create a list of your Top 10 tips to stay safe online. If you don’t have access to Microsoft Powerpoint, create your slides in a word processing program or on poster paper! Design a Banner and Advertise What do you want people young people to understand about online safety? How do you want to visually represent the message? This task mixes your creative skills with your people skills. Hone your networking abilities by approaching businesses and organizations that can help you fund the printing and promotion of your banner. Create a Public Service Announcement (PSA) Write, produce and send your PSA to your local radio or television station; or ask your school to announce it at an assembly or over the public announcement system. >>Got a Better Idea?
