Poverty   Poetry

To face the poorest is to picture two dollars
As the money they can't make in twenty four hours
At this pace how will one become a substantial endower

To live life in a simple lifestyle
Is to let others simply live in a basic style
Picture a world were all man have equal aisles

To measure the impact of illiteracy
Picture a billion people unable to read or write entering a century
Oh wait two point five billion people entered this century not able to spell literacy

To ask for little help from all that wealth
Picture asking the wealthiest for 1% for the cause of good health
But to get way less than that small amount what the hell

To fight for and believe in gender equality
Is to stand in the way of violence against women in all nations
Picture a life long story of a someone who never reached equation

Picture it

Just picture it

Samori Sombel Sy

Writting is like a weapon, you can use it in a positive or negative way. I try my best to use it positively by promoting the well being of society as a whole, and bringing up different issues that the world and humans face today.
