There is a pain that never goes away
The pain of losing a mother
The pain of scavenging for food
It nags at my conscience
My mommy is no more
Stolen at such a tender age
Struck by the angel of death, AIDS!
It’s such a pain, such a loss
My sister is on her deathbed
Struck by AIDS
Is it fate? Are we paying for some crime?
Who is to blame? Man? God?
A tear drops from my eye
Can’t bear the pain
What is our solution?
What can we do?
Rally? Campaign? Or what?
Young souls of the world
Lets come together and fight AIDS
You, me, everyone!
We can if we believe we can!
Say no to sex! Use a condom! Be faithful to your partner!
It’s the only way
It’s the way for humanity!

Oh my Rarest Of The Rare | Dec 28th, 2004
This is sooo sad. A message that others hsould hear. It's for a good cause, people need to realize and be aware. No one is goin to take care of you but you.

When are we going to wake up and see? Antony Felix O. O. Simbowo | Dec 29th, 2004
Some good work of poetry. I hope others out there wil wake up and see the grimness in its stark reality.
