Like the rising of the sun

A new child was born

Black tan and ebony

With glorious glory

Enveloped with untold story

Talented and creative

Distinguished among the natives

With the brightest of all futures

Fed with greatness

With success he was nurtured

He is an African child

Wrapped with success

That will last eternity

Poverty came in like gravity

Pull down his dreams and aspirations

Left him with nothing

But hard work and hope

Like water in the desert

He longed for someone to come to the rescue

Erasing years of stagnancy

Coming in like emergency

Crowning the African child

With his Excellency

Placing him where he belongs.
