Waking up to the dust above,
Going to work under the age of twelve.
This is a normal day of my life,
That is probably out of your belief.
Just because of a little debt,
That my parents owe to them,
I have to work to pay the debt,
That will never be paid off.
I work in a carpet factory,
On just the second story.
I work for day and night,
Just for a few cents or so,
I know all this is not humanly right,
But it’s the only choice I have!
