Blowing through the wind
It's as if I could remember
The times have changed but things remain
It's the feeling of freedom in the wind
The corruption blown right out of my eyes
And it fly's away to make me remember
They say we have come so far
But that's no reason to cease
The answer isn't always the decision to appease
When the wind stops blowing, it’s not in my eyes
But it's right in my face
And there is no denying the truth
You can cut all you want
But the fears will keep growing back
A solution that need not be revealed
The difference is your heart's content

It sounds as if it had a melody to sing it, a song as much as a poem. :-)
