I shut my eyes,
And let my mind roam
To take me somewhere,
Far away from my home.
And I reach a place,
Where there’s nothing but peace
All that surrounds me is nature
And I feel the cool breeze
Blowing against my face,
Swaying the leaves on the trees,
And spreading the scent of flowers
Nature is giving it for free.
The chirp of the birds,
I sense a calm feeling
To hear the gurgling waterfall
It feels as if the mind is healing.
Nature has taken over me,
And I am lost within it
Suddenly I awake,
Because reality has hit it.
That dreaming of such places,
Won’t save what has been done
Imagine the future for us
Will we even have one?
