Things need not be mine.
- Feb 27th 2004 -

Today
It was full of shit
Until I met
Them
Him
Her
It

Me?
Wanting nothing
But
A Rest to soul
A Slumber to eyes
Under starry night
No!
Things need not be mine

I ran into the invisible forest
Closed my eyes as tight as I could
Letting go
The flow
Of
Visions
Illusion
Bursting into
Emotions
Sensation
I hug an oak tree of truth
And touched the earth
Full of dirt
The smell of presence
Lingered on my lips
All Alone,
Me and myself
I open my eyes and smile
Things need not be mine

Every once in a while
I stay up the night
Graining the dirt and truth
Onto papers
But it doesn’t really matter
Cuz' in the end
I fall back into the stream
Of visions
Illusions

Yet in the end,
Things may not be mine.
