All that Glitters Printable Version PRINTABLE VERSION
by Chantelle Ennis-Charoo, Canada Jan 6, 2009
Culture   Poetry

All that glitters are the rays of the sun
As it shines so strongly on a summers day

All that glitters is the freshly fallen snow
As it sparkles and twinkles

All that glitters are the charms on my bittersweet bracelet
As it dangles off my wrist

But there are cold days,
The snow turns to slush
bracelets turn to rust.

Despite all of these, all that glitters is the look in your eyes
As I glance over at you and just know they will never fade.

Writer Profile
Chantelle Ennis-Charoo

My name is Chantelle. I enjoy writing because I believe it is one of the greatest ways to connect with people. And with the use of translations your message can reach an even wider audience.

I tend to write about personal experiences, arts & media that have inspired me, or just about anything.

"Writing is the key to many opportunities, and I like keys."
