When Life Loses Meaning Printable Version PRINTABLE VERSION
by Remish, Zambia Mar 31, 2008
Health   Poetry

In the middle of the day the sun sets
the rains are halted
The second hand no longer ticks.
As the head tries to think
It is thrown in the abyss of the now.
What seemed like today is yesterday,
and today itself seems so unreal.
Scared to look into the clergy's eyes,
for fear of being asked to be strong.

When life loses meaning,
the creed of existence is wasted
and the future turns blunt.
No friends to love,
No love to befriend,
Nothing to hope for but hope itself.
It is when life loses meaning,
That your strength is tested.
When life loses meaning,
Remember meaning finds LIFE.
