A stranger in a strange place.
In the life of a child who neither knows him
Or has even seen a photo of him.
The child doesn't know his likes or dislikes -
His history or his future plans -
How many children of his own that he has, if any -
Or if he's a Christian, Moslem, Jew or Buddhist.
The child only knows that his life is being changed.
The child can now go to school -
With a meal in his tummy -
With water in his bottle -
With books in his book bag -
With a clean, new uniform and shoes -
With pride of what he is and dreams of what he will be.
A stranger has touched his life and made it worth living......
