For the children without a place to called home, my heart bleeds!
For the suffering masses in the continent called Africa & all over the world, I bow in tears!
And what shall I say about those that lost their lives in the fight for justice and fairness in my country, in Kenya, in Uganda etc?
They fought for their human rights;
They wanted good governance;
They clamoured for a sustainable environment.
Yet, their voices seemed unrecognised. . . until they died!
Then, I begin to ponder in my heart "Is there hope at all for Africa, and is there hope that things will work out well?"
Now I know that there is Hope.
Looking beyond today I see a brighter future.
I see the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) bringing positive relief and changes.
Then shall my heart bleed no more.
