    Honouring Cultural Diversity

The world is globally connected. The media and the web have made an exchange of information possible. At a rapid speed, we have the power to engage with a diverse group of individuals, sharing ideas, cultures, and languages. Maya Angelou, an autobiographer and poet, once said, "We all should know that diversity makes for a rich tapestry, and we must understand that all the threads of the tapestry are equal in value no matter what their color." At TakingITGlobal, we encourage cross-cultural exchange and dialogue between members of our Online Community. Last month we opened a contest in honour of International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination. Take some time to explore your creativity by Imagining What Is Possible! This month, join us in our call to formally recognize International "High Five Day, a celebration of diversity in this new global age.
