Ready to Restore a Rainforest? Join Project Borneo 3D! DeforestACTION, a part of our Shout environmental program, has teamed up with acclaimed conservationist Dr. Willie Smits and Orangutan Outreach to bring you Project Borneo! Ten incredible young leaders will be given the opportunity to spend five months in Borneo implementing the DeforestACTION project. Your involvement in will be documented and developed into a 3D documentary feature by Virgo Productions and National Geographic Entertainment! If you are ready to change the world, take action to bring an end to the destruction of the world's forests, and protect and save wild animals (particularly orangutans) then create a video and enter the contest before the deadline - March 15th!

Sprout E-Course: The Next Cycle The Winter Cycle of Sprout will run from February 28th to April 29th. The e-course offers young leaders worldwide access to training in essential skills, including team building, communications, evaluation and leveraging technology as they imagine, plan and develop social change initiatives. Young leaders will be able to develop social innovative projects based on the lessons. Do you have a world changing idea that's ready to take root in your community? Head to Sprout and Register for the e-course, which is open until February 26th. Registered Leaders will be eligible to apply for the Pearson Fellowship for Social Innovation - a four month international fellowship program with project incubation, e-mentoring and grants of $1,000 and $5,000. TIGed Launches Its First Accredited E-Course! On February 3rd, TIGed saw the inauguration of its first Accredited Professional Development E-Course on Global Education! The e-course will provide teachers with support better their understanding of and competencies in global education. The second course on Project-based Learning starts March 30th. TIG Multilingual Needs YOU! TIG's Multilingual team is looking for motivated, enthusiastic online volunteers to join our international language translation teams! We're looking for speakers of Malay, Korean, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Russian, Chinese, Dutch, Romanian, Turkish, Farsi and Bengali. Check out our volunteer postings for more details! We're also looking for a hardworking, energetic person to coordinate our French translation team. If you have 8-10 hours a week to share and the drive to lead a dedicated team from around the world, this could be the job for you! Details can be found in our French Language Coordinator posting.
