Pakistan needs YOU! Pakistan needs your help! For the past three weeks the people of Pakistan have been dealing with the death of family members, loss of their homes, lack of food, a magnitude of diseases and much more, all due to the floods that devasted the country not too long ago. Donate to the Pakistan Red Crescent Society or OXFAM and share your thoughts and feelings about the disaster with other members in our featured 2010 Pakistan Floods Group Blog.

Help seal the deal and save the forest Palm oil is often associated with rainforest destruction and the constant extinction of animals (including Orangutans) that live in those forests. TIGed's DeforestACTION project has been bringing together schools across Asia-Pacific, with the support of Microsoft, to focus on raising awareness about the connection between palm oil and deforestation. Students have urged food companies like General Mills to adopt a new palm oil policy to protect against rainforest destruction. You can give General Mills a final push to completely clear their supply chain of rainforest destruction. Send an email and demand action for saving the rainforests and the animals that live in it!

High on Life: Stories of Hope, Change, and Leadership Change is happening and it's a beautiful thing. High on Life is a book of stories about inspiration, about leadership, and about change. Based on the narratives of 17 young leaders (including TakingITGlobal's Co-founder Michael Furdyk), the book tracks incredible young people across 9 countries and 4 continents, as they share their wisdom and experiences. 100% of the proceeds from the book go to the Granting Change Program - providing grants to non-profit organizations that engage in collaboration. Visit highonlife.ca to join in a journey of conversation and stories.

The project has grown into an international effort to document the 24-hour period of October 10, 2010 (10.10.10), making One Day on Earth a living document that will allow people all over the world to share a common experience! This is your chance to help document your reality in the first truly worldwide film. Get involved!
