Design For The First World We live in a complex world, one full of inequities and wonderful things. We have been focusing our energy and resources on trying to solve our Developing World problems to become more like the First World. But perhaps it is time that the Third World minds focus their energy and creativity on solving some of the First World problems. Design for the First World is calling artists, designers, tinkerers, makers and thinkers with an idea to participate. There are only two conditions: you are 13 years of age or older and you were born in and now live in a Developing Country! The best designs and solutions will get a cash prize and will be featured in a beautifully designed catalogue and their work will be showcased in a gallery in New York!
