Global Youth Culture contest Do you feel part of an emerging global youth culture? How do you promote dialogue and understanding among different cultures? Youth for Change wants to know! The program is organizing a multimedia writing and art contest on the theme of "Global Youth Culture". Submit your article, short story, poem or artwork in Arabic, English or French for your chance to win. Top entries will also be featured online and in a publication, as well as showcased at the World Youth Congress in Istanbul, Turkey and the Bibliotheca Alexandria in Egypt. The deadline for submissions is 10th April, 2010. Participate now!

'Say No' Webinar The Pixel Project is proud to announce its second weekend webinar on Saturday March 27, 2010 at 6pm EST, hosted by Urjasi Rudra, coordinator of the 'Say NO - UNiTE to End Violence Against Women' campaign. This is your chance to ask questions about the "Say NO" campaign which is part of UNIFEM's global work to end Violence Against Women. All webinars are free for all to view and participate in, just register ahead of time or on the day and click to enter The Webinar Room. Don't forget to also try and persuade the boys and men in your life to attend the webinar to show them why they need to step up to work with girls and women to end violence against women in their cultures, communities, and societies no matter where they are!

Call for Content Partners - World Youth Congress The 5th World Youth Congress on Youth and Development is taking place in Istanbul, Turkey during a 12-day period from July 31 to August 13, 2010. The Congress represents the cooperation between local, national, international government, and civil society organization and one of the biggest and most popular youth-led global youth gatherings. During these 12 days, there will be thematic and skills workshops, action projects, seminars, roundtable discussions, cultural events, exhibitions and several other side activities. The organizers, Peace Child International, e-genclik Association and the Ministry of National Education are seeking to cooperate with all sorts of national and international NGO's, international organizations, governmental institutions, businesses, informal youth groups, and student clubs in all congress activities mentioned above. Fill out the proposal and application forms to join others in making a difference!

IDRC Davos 2010 The Global Risk Forum is organizing its 3rd International Disaster and Risk Conference from May 30 to June 3, 2010.
