Innovative Students Forum 2009 TakingITGlobal and Microsoft hosted an Innovative Students Forum last week during the Microsoft Innovative Teachers Forum in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. 15 students from across Asia, selected through participation in an online discussion on TIG, attended to share their thoughts about the future of education and to develop project ideas to address educational challenges in their communities. June 12th is the Day to end Child Labour It is estimated that 165 million children aged 5-14 are engaged in child labour worldwide. Millions of children are engaged in hazardous work environments like mines, working with petro-chemicals and pesticides.
