TakingITMobile Issue Launched! After all of the fantastic material submitted by TIG members to our editorial team, the new issue - TakingITMobile - is now up on the Panorama homepage. This issue is focused on the mobile phone and other means of mobile communications, and how they affect our world. Share Stories and Lessons Learned on Youth and Technology Projects Working hard locally and telling the world about your project is like winking or smiling in the dark. The UN Committee of eLeaders for Youth & ICT, in partnership with the UN Global Alliance for ICT & Development and TakingITGlobal, present an opportunity for young people to showcase their work in using ICTs for development. We believe that there are many young people doing amazing things in various corners of the world and wish to bring such to light through a publication of best practice efforts. Sharing the stories of the work you do will also help others know that the power of one is bigger than we often assume, and we hope that your stories will inspire many people who will have access to the publication at this year's UN General Assembly in New York - and those who will read the stories online. What's next? Visit and submit your best practice effort. |

Earth Hour 2009 This year's Earth Hour just took place, with a goal of having people in cities from all over the world conserve energy; resulting in a better environment. Through this demonstration Earth Hour hoped to raise awareness on environmental and global issues, locally, regionally, and globally. How did you participate?
