TakingITGlobal Launches V6!
TIG held a Launch Party to correspond with the unveiling of the new version of our Online Community. On December 16 TIG staff, members, and supporters gathered for a special celebration. Check out photos and a video from the event itself! You'll get a chance to see the people behind the relaunch and learn more about the work we're doing to effect social change. Also, you can take a sneak peek behind the scenes in our relaunch blog.

Support TakingITGlobal!
With the re-launch of V6, TakingITGlobal has also launched our 2009 fundraising campaign. Your financial contribution means more than ever before in a time of economic uncertainty and will be an investment in a global movement for change. For Donors in Canada, donate here to receive a Canadian tax receipt. For a US tax receipt and for all other countries, make your donation here. Please consider joining our monthly giving program with a monthly donation of $10 or more. Thank you for your support!

International Youth Delegation to Poznan
The United Nations Climate Change Conference took place in Poznan, Poland from December 1 - 13th 2008. There were over 500 youth delegates present from over 54 countries! Learn about youth participation and how international climate change negotiations affect your community. Meet some of the International Youth Delegates and more on the official Group blog for the International Youth Delegation to Poland! It features video interviews with several delegates.

International Migrant's Day: December 18
On December 4, 2000 the General Assembly proclaimed December 18 to be International Migrants Day. We are all encouraged to observe International Migrants Day through the discussion and sharing of information on the human rights and fundamental freedoms of migrants, and through the sharing of experiences and the design of actions to ensure their protection. TIG hosted a Live Chat on Youth Migration to mark the day, download the transcript here.
