TIGStar: Yassir El Ouarzadi Yassir, whose native country is Morocco and is currently living in Montreal, tries to do to the best of his ability in all the activities that interest him such as environmental projects, ‎leadership programs, poetry and other commitments. Yassir is the second most active member of the TIG community, and has been the Montreal Youth Engagement Coordinator for CLC Canada since January 2008. He is very passionate about youth engagement. Since April 2007, when he first discovered TIG; Yassir has enjoyed the TIG people, the amazing TIG online tools especially Panorama, project pages and member stories. He also enjoys the international visibility and international cooperation between TIG youth from all over the world.

Events: TakingITGlobal at NECC For almost three decades, the National Educational Computing Conference (NECC) has been the premier forum in which to learn, exchange, and survey the field of educational technology. Jennifer Corriero, who attended the conference along with four other TIG staff members, from June 29th - July 2nd in Texas blogged about TakingITGlobal’s presence at the conference.
