Water can be found everywhere, even the chicken breast you ate for lunch is 65% water! Yet, 800 million people still don't have access to clean, safe drinking water. Water scarcity also affects our environment, causing the loss of essential habitats around the world. For World Day of Water on March 22nd, we invite you to commit to saving water and helping all of planet Earth's inhabitants. Check out the International Day page for examples on how to do just that. You can start by participating in UNICEF's tap project, where setting down your phone for 10 minutes or more can provide a day of clean water for a child. |
